Are you feeling a bit bored during this lockdown period? Are you pacing around like a caged animal and finding it hard to cope with the close quarters in your home?
We've been thinking about you and how to help you experience this moment with more pleasure and motivation!
We've come up with a few tips and tricks to help you organize your days and make your everyday life more joyful!
- Taking time for yourself
We all dreamed of it: having time for ourselves! And time is essential for morale and for maintaining energy on a daily basis.
Did you no longer have time to do your nails? Or even read that book you received for your last birthday? Or perhaps improvise a dance routine in front of your mirror while listening to one of your current favorite songs? This is the perfect time to break out of your daily routine and make it more exciting! Taking care of yourself is a fundamental need that is dear to all of us.
- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Yes indeed! Getting up with the sun and working until nightfall is an excellent rhythm for your health because you are in sync with the Earth's system.
This rhythm is natural and therefore excellent for our bodies. So don't hesitate if you can: half-open your shutters in the morning and let the natural light guide you to maintain a proper rhythm that's a little less abrupt than the one you usually follow.
- Enjoying time with loved ones
Have you not spent time with your family in ages? Are you nostalgic for those good times spent on the sofa watching movies together or playing board games? Now is the perfect time to reconnect and recreate moments of sharing, connection, and relaxation as a family, to enjoy each other's company and take an interest in one another, their projects, and their desires. Sharing experiences means, for example, exploring common ground or laughing together about mundane or trivial things. Let's not forget that laughter is the best thing for our health, so let's laugh together! 😉
- Preparing for your future
Have you always dreamed of starting your own business? Do you long to take on crazy challenges? Run your first marathon? Or even compete in a jump rope championship? Anything is possible and everything is achievable! Now is the time to take a step back, reflect on all of this, prioritize your projects, and prepare for the new adventures you've always dreamed of!
This period is also ideal for that: taking stock in order to better attack when the time comes!
Think about what you dreamed of, how you imagine achieving it, by what deadline you want to make it a reality, and prepare it based on the very simple 5Ws: the famous 5 fundamental questions to start a project.
What? Who? When? Where? Why?
And we also advise you to ask yourself “How?” to begin your action plan.
Starting from scratch to launch a project can sometimes bring doubts and questioning, but as they say, "nothing ventured, nothing gained!", so let's take advantage of this time to take risks and decide to go for it.
- Playing sports
Have you lost your usual rhythm of sporting activities? Do you need to let off steam or, on the contrary, to calm down? Do you want to take advantage of this time to become more efficient or simply lose a few extra kilos?
This is the perfect time to plan regular physical activities!

- Eat healthily
Wanting to cook is one thing, but most of the time we can't manage to organize ourselves to do it in the evening, let alone at lunchtime!
So let's use the lockdown to cook up some good, healthy meals for lunch and dinner, and thus keep fit with pleasure.
If you're short on recipe ideas, turn to the famous Marmiton app, for example, which will make your life much easier!
We recommend a good, balanced breakfast, perhaps with green tea as a warm drink to gently awaken your body, and a piece of seasonal fruit for vitamins. Right now, enjoy citrus fruits like lemons, grapefruits, or oranges, as well as apples or kiwis. And of course, cereals, with or without dairy, for the energy needed for physical and mental activities. Then, for lunch and dinner, have a good meal with a variety of seasonal vegetables. Right now, treat yourself to artichokes, cauliflower, asparagus, radishes, or curly endive. Don't forget protein; you don't have to eat meat at every meal for a more eco-friendly approach. Consider alternatives like legumes, nuts and seeds, soy, or tofu.
So enjoy yourselves and take care! 😉
