My name is Agathe, and I live in Bordeaux. I'm currently the creative director at a professional rugby club, where I handle all the visual communication. In my free time, I play a lot of sports and work on my blog. I really enjoy running in the streets of Bordeaux and along the quays; it's very pleasant.
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO RUNNING?
My life took a major turn in August 2016. I wasn't at all athletic and had several dozen kilos to lose. I decided to change and committed myself to achieving this by going to the gym several times a week. Initially, I attended group classes. To stay motivated, it was important to mix things up. So, I gradually started running, still with the goal of losing weight. But then I started enjoying it, and I've continued running ever since.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN RUNNING?
I started running in November 2016, almost a year ago.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT RUNNING?
There are no set schedules; it's just you and your running shoes, whenever and wherever you want. I'm not a very fast runner, but I'm still very proud of myself and my journey. Running is such an enriching sport; it's allowed me to get to know myself better, to learn to listen to my body more and take better care of it. I love running because I feel free to go wherever I want, regardless of my time or speed. I feel alive every time I run.
WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST SPOT FOR RUNNING IN YOUR AREA?
The Bordeaux region is full of great scenery for running. I really like going to the Garonne quays, right in the city centre, which connect the Chaban Delmas bridge to the Pierre bridge, the famous "tour of the 2 bridges".
WHY DID YOU WANT TO REPRESENT THE NOLIJU BRAND?
When I discovered the Noliju brand, I was immediately drawn to their graphic designs. They maintain a simple yet elegant style, combining both style and comfort. While the clothing is aesthetically pleasing, it's made from technical fabrics specifically designed for running.
WHAT ARE YOUR AMBITIONS AS A NOLIJU AMBASSADOR?
I truly love running and sharing my passion. I aspire to create a real community of runners on social media and to organize meetups and exchanges between enthusiasts. This would also be an opportunity to introduce the Noliju brand.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ITEM FROM NOLIJU? AND WHY?
I fell in love with the Olivier shorts . I love the pattern and the fabric. They're very comfortable to wear. You can mix and match looks because they're reversible. They've become a staple in my sporty wardrobe.
